My name is William Ellis Johnson. Like many, I started playing guitar sometime in my first decade of life. Then, I studied music through high school, went to Interlochen Arts Academy, and attended Oberlin Conservatory for my B.M. Currently, I'm a freelance engineer, guitarist, and pedal steel player based in Nashville, TN.

Most recently I worked with Anne Malin. We just release an LP: “Fog Area” which you can hear us on Spotify, iTunes, etc. NPR calls us "unsettling."
